Is there a limit to the number of jobs that the pharos queue can handle per server or is there a limit to the number of pritners that the pharos software Yeah the universal is what I used, easier to install that instead of xp,2k3,vista,7 for each printer. But I havent tried with a different name.
Did you rename the printer (maybe has the old name in the DNS Cache?

We have increased the number of queues though, but no where near the 100 limit as you suggest. I guess this has to do with the memory available. Is the new server a DNS server and you cleared the cache? Now when ever we try to print it fails, and when we look at the print queue it just says error printing. The system returned: (22) Invalid argument The remote host or network may be down. I've tried printing from both an XP machine and the print server itself. Because it has attracted low-quality or spam answers that had to be removed, posting an answer now requires 10 reputation on this site (the association bonus does not count).
If the printer is part of your AD, you might want to try to remove it from there aswell as the driver from the printersharing service. I have removed the printer and added it, no luck.
